Description
Lower Ware is a building from the early to mid 19th century, standing two storeys tall with a slate hipped roof and bracketed eaves. The front is finished in stucco. The entrance features splayed three-light bays on the first floor, supported by a columned portico leading to the doorway. The doorway has an archivolt and a six-panelled door, with the top four panels cut away and glazed. To the right on the ground floor, there is a sash window, and above it, a small window along with a circular lunette that provides access to a passageway below. A wing projects forward from the corner towards the entry, featuring two windows on the first floor. The garden front has two splayed bays, each two storeys high and containing three-light sash windows with glazing bars and horns.
