Description

Umbrella Cottage is likely from the early 19th century, with later alterations, and is described as a "Cottage orné." The building is roughcast with a thatched roof and is single-storied. The front portion is roughly octagonal, with the roof carried down to wooden posts, and features a central chimney. A rectangular wing extends from the back. It has wooden casement windows and a door with a diamond-shaped panel above. It was originally a gardener's cottage.
