Description

This granary, now the premises of Dorchester Saddlery, dates from the late 18th century. It features brick walls laid in Flemish bond and is raised on round brick arches, with three arches by two. There is a plat band above the arches. The roof is covered with clay tiles and has stone slate eaves, hipped at both ends. On the north and south walls, there is one two-light wood casement window with glazing bars. The front entrance, which faces the road, has a glazed wood door from the 20th century, accessed via rebuilt brick steps.
