Description
The former granary, built in the early 19th century and shown on an 1825 estate map, is constructed from coursed and dressed rubble with granite dressings, and features a Flemish bond brick right gable end. It has a hipped and half-hipped slate roof and a rectangular plan. The rear includes a central one-storey outshut, flanked by a two-storey outshut on the left and a two-storey wing on the right, making it three storeys tall overall with a five-window range. There is a keyed segmental brick arch over a wide central door, with granite lintels above a wide door to the left and two plank doors to the right. The left door to the centre also has a granite lintel, while the windows include horned 8/8-pane sashes and two-light wood-mullioned windows. The right return features a two-window range with glazing-bar sashes and central full-height plank stable and cart-entry doors. Inside, there is a granite staircase, a timber hoist, and a king-post roof.
