Description
The Lodge is a mid-19th century lodge located at the entrance to Warmwell House. It features coursed and dressed stone walls and a stone slate roof with stone gable copings at both the front and rear, along with moulded kneelers. The building is 1½ storeys tall and has tall octagonal brick stacks on the east wall at the eaves and in the valley between the porch and the main roof.
On the ground floor, there is a canted bay window with three light stone mullions, each having one on the returns, and cast iron casements with a lozenge pattern of lights. The bay window also has a stone slate roof. Above it, there is a two light mullion window with a separate returned label. A gabled porch is attached to the west side, featuring a doorway with chamfered jambs and a three-centred head, along with a plank door. Above the porch, there is a carved stone coat-of-arms. The east side wall includes two two light stone mullion windows with cast iron casements.
