Description

This is an early 19th century pair of buildings on the south side of Pound Street. The buildings are three storeys high and have four window bays each. They are constructed of painted brick and feature a parapet. The sash windows retain their original glazing bars. The first-floor windows are set within round-headed recesses. The ground-floor windows are round-headed sashes with arched tracery. The recessed round-headed doorways are topped with semi-circular fanlights featuring similar tracery. Each building has a six-panelled door. The buildings are part of a group which also includes The Lawn, Hotel Buena Vista, the north boundary walls, Tivoli Cottage, and Belmont.
