Description
Tivoli Cottage is a late 18th century to early to mid 19th century octagonal two-storey building located on the south side of Pound Street. The cottage features a hipped slate roof with a curvilinear bargeboard and has stuccoed walls. The west side has an outshut with a small window above and a sash window below. The north-west side is blank, while the north side has a sash window with glazing bars both above and below. The north-east side is also blank. On the east side, there is a panelled door on the ground floor, and the south-east side features a round-headed casement with tracery above. The south side is partly incorporated within a north-south wing, which is set back from the street at the rear. Tivoli Cottage is part of a group that includes The Lawn, Hotel Buena Vista, the north boundary walls, Nos 14 and 15, and Belmont.
