Description
Kettle Bridge is a road bridge located 75 metres west of the North Barn in Cerne Abbas. It dates from the 17th century or earlier and is constructed of rubble-stone masonry. The bridge features high parapet walls that rise to 1.5 metres and curve out at both ends. It has a single low, roughly round arch that spans the width of the bridge, which accommodates a single carriage width of 4 metres. The total length of the bridge is 10 metres. This structure provides road access to the North Barn.
