Description
The two stiles located 15 metres east and 20 metres west of Chickerell Church date from the 18th century and are situated in the churchyard wall. They are made of vertically-set slabs of grey limestone, approximately 2 feet high and 3 feet wide, which are set into shallow rubble-stone walls. The eastern stile features two stone steps on each side, while the western stile has stone steps in each corner and a central stone step.
