Description
Stonebank is a detached house dating from the early 17th century. It features walls made of lias rubble and coursed Blue Lias, topped with a concrete pantile roof. The gables have stone copings with scroll kneelers. There is a renewed stone stack on the left gable and a dressed stone stack at the right ridge. The house has two storeys and four windows, which include 2-, 3-, and 4-light stone mullions that are hollow-chamfered and lack labels. The wooden casements have horizontal glazing bars. The front door, located slightly to the left of center, has moulded stone jambs, a stopped design, and a depressed-arch head. It features a fielded panel door with one glass light, dating from the 20th century. The attached barn at the right end is not considered of special interest.
