Description

This listing describes a pair of gate-piers and a gate located on the Fleet-Chickerwell parish boundary, just north of Fleet Lodge. The gate-piers date from the late 18th century and are made of rusticated stone, featuring a moulded cornice and large ball-finials. The gate-posts are crafted from cast iron with an openwork design, and the gate itself includes two circular tension-bars.
