Description
The Wheller family monument, located in the churchyard 11 metres south of the south aisle of St Mary's Church, is a table tomb dating from 1731. It is constructed of ashlar and features a flat top with an inset carved shield. The sides of the tomb are panelled, and the central oval panel is adorned with egg and dart enrichment. The monument includes several inscriptions dedicated to members of the Wheller and Tickland families.
