Description

The Old Rectory is a rectory that has been converted into a private dwelling. It has origins dating back to the 18th century but was significantly enlarged and extended in the early 19th century. The building features a combination of rendered surfaces, banded rubble, and brick, topped with slate roofs and end rendered stacks. It is designed in an L-shape and consists of two storeys with a three-bay main facade. The central bay is highlighted by pilasters and a pediment. The upper floor includes two-light casement windows with glazing bars, while the ground floor features sash windows with glazing bars and central French doors.

Inside, notable features include a staircase with a plain balustrade and a mahogany handrail, as well as reset 16th-century stone two-light windows.
