Description

South Lodge is a single-storey lodge built around 1830. It is rendered and whitewashed, topped with a pyramidal slate roof and features a central rendered stack. The building has a three-window range with small pavilions on either side. The windows are 2-light casements with glazing bars, and there is a central part-glazed door. The south, east, and west fronts include an open loggia supported by slender Doric columns. This lodge was originally associated with the now-demolished Langton House.
