GV II Detached Cottage. C17. Rubble-stone walls. Thatch roofs in U-plan with 2 gable-ends to the east, stone stacks at east gables. Brick stack on south-west hip. 1½ storeys. Irregular fenestration, two 3-light iron casements with lead lights on south elevation. 2 light iron casements with lead lights on east elevation. Wood lintels over. Front doorway, on east elevation, plank with weatherboard and wood framing, C19. Pentice slate roof over. (RCHM Dorset I, p.34(6))
