Description
Tudor Cottage is a detached cottage dating from the 17th century, located on Church Street in Bradford Abbas. The building features rubble-stone walls and thatch roofs arranged in a U-shape, with two gable ends facing east and stone stacks at these gables. There is also a brick stack on the south-west hip. The cottage has one and a half storeys and irregular window arrangements, including two three-light iron casements with lead lights on the south elevation and two two-light iron casements with lead lights on the east elevation, all with wood lintels above. The front doorway, located on the east elevation, is a plank door with weatherboarding and wood framing, dating from the 19th century, and is topped with a pentice slate roof.
