Description
Cross Cottage, Glynn Cottage, and Wistaria Cottage are a row of three cottages dating from the 17th century. They feature coursed rubble-stone walls and a thatched roof with gable ends, which have stone gable coping at the left-hand end. There are brick stacks at the left-hand gable and two more on the ridge at the party walls. The cottages are two storeys high and have five windows, which are wooden casements with glazing bars, arranged in two and three lights.
The front doors are as follows: Cross Cottage has a plank door attached to the left-hand end with a canopy added in the 20th century. Wistaria Cottage features a plank door with a door frame from the 19th century and a thatched porch canopy from the 20th century. Glynn Cottage has a plank door with two ornamental strap hinges, also from the 20th century.
