Description

St Mary's House is a former vicarage that has been converted into a private house, dating from the mid-18th century. The building features rubble-stone walls that are rendered, and it has a clay-tile roof with gables and stone gable-copings. There are 20th-century brick stacks at the gable ends. The house is 2½ storeys tall and has five windows with a regular arrangement. The windows are two-light wood casements with glazing bars, which have been renewed, and there are three dormer windows with two-light cast-iron casements topped with hipped slate roofs. The front door is centrally located and has recessed panels, dating from the 19th century. An outshut is present on the west end of the building.
