TRENT ST 5818-5918 - Pigeon-House, 25 metres 18/160 north of Church Farmhouse 11.7.51 GV II

Pigeon-House. C17. Cob walls on a plinth of dressed stone. Thatch roof, hipped. Rectangular plan. 2-leaf plank door on west face with three round holes. Chamfered lintel over. Interior: clay-cob pigeon holes throughout. Front interior face is plastered. (RCHM, Dorset I, p 257(5)ff).
