Description

The Pigeon House, located at the south west corner of the farmyard at Poxwell Manor Farm, dates from the late 17th century. It features squared rubble walls and a clay tile roof with stone slates at the eaves. The upper floor and the east doorway are later additions. The original doorway on the west wall, which has a four-centred head, is blocked. The east gable door is a plank door with a wood frame from the 19th century. On the upper south wall, there is a central plank door flanked by two light casements. Inside, there are square pigeon holes on the north and south walls.
