Description
The Ampersand with flanking walls is an early 19th-century building located on Little Content Lane. It features two storeys and an attic, with three windows across its façade. The building has a slate roof with a pentice at the back and a stuccoed front that includes quoins. There are two segmental-headed dormers and flanking chimneys. The windows are set in reveals, with intact glazing bars above and missing ones below. The entrance consists of a panelled door, although the upper panels have been altered. A flat trellis porch is present, and there is a single-storey stucco wall with a false round-headed window that extends a short distance on either side of the house.
