Description

No. 1 Victoria Street is a two-storey building with an attic, dating from 1615. It forms part of the block that includes Nos 2 to 8 Barton Hill. The building features a 19th-century front and has a plain tile hipped roof. As a corner building, it has one window bay facing Barton Hill, with a stone rubble front. The windows are three panes wide and set in frames. On Victoria Street, there are two window bays and a door, which are rendered, with windows in reveals and altered glazing. The lower windows have segmental arches, and there is a modern door also set in a segmental arch. It is listed for its contribution to the street scene.
