Description

Number 52 Bell Street is an 18th to early 19th century building with a lower frontage than the adjacent number 50. It is two storeys high and has two windows. The roof is tiled, and the front is constructed of stone rubble with a plinth. The upper floor has a two-light casement window with small panes of glass. The lower floor has altered sash windows. The windows are topped with lintels. A flush-panelled door is located centrally, with alterations to the upper part, also beneath a lintel. The building forms a group with numbers 42 to 52A (even) on Bell Street, number 1 Victoria Street, and numbers 2 to 8 (even) on Barton Hill.
