Description

  1. 1615 BARTON HILL (South Side) Garden Wall enclosing garden to Barton Hill House on North West Side of garden;and gate piers. ST 8623 1/119B II 2. Stone rubble wall with capping extends along Barton Hill from gateway left of No 5 as far North East as house itself. Flanking entrance to house at North East end: pair of gate-piers with coved capping; stepped square finials over. Wall discontinued for a short distance, then forms set-back quadrant wing at entrance to north-east of house.
