Description

The garden wall on the north and east sides of Green Batt House, along with the gate piers, dates from the early to mid-19th century. The north wall is approximately 7 feet high and 28 yards long, constructed of ashlar stone. It returns to the west and features octagonal gate piers that stand about 8 feet high, topped with pointed caps and antefixae, located next to a side door on the left. The east wall is made of coursed rubble, standing about 6 to 7 feet high and extending approximately 95 yards in length, with the southern end capped by around 3 feet of brickwork.
