Description

Green Batt House is an early 19th-century detached villa, likely built after 1827. It has two storeys and a symmetrical design, with two windows facing the garden (south) front, three facing east, and one facing the entrance (north) front. The house is constructed of ashlar with a moulded eaves cornice. The roof is slate, hipped, and features a chimney to the north and one to the south. The windows are sash windows with glazing bars. A two-storey, one-window stable block, also of ashlar, is located on the north-west corner of the house, with a hipped slate roof. The stable block has a segmental coach arch to the right and decorative corbels. A lean-to outbuilding extends to the north. A two-story, one-window lean-to is attached to the left side of the south front. A heavy, parapetted porch is centrally positioned on the north side of the house.
