Description

The remains of the former Correction House yard, dating to circa 1807, are located at the rear of No 34. The yard’s north wall retains three blocked windows with raised ashlar dressings, and a doorway with bolt-slides is present at the rear. An old washing trough sits near the wall. This represents a group value context of the historic correction house.
