Description
Keeper's Cottage is a former gamekeeper's cottage, likely built in the late 18th century. The cottage features walls made of brick with flint banding and has a thatched roof that is hipped at the left end, with a brick chimney stack at the right end. It is two storeys high. The entrance includes a ledged door sheltered by a thatched hood. On the ground floor, there are two casement windows with horizontal glazing bars, while the first floor has three similar windows. There is a single-storey extension at the left end, which also has a hipped thatched roof and one plain casement window. At the rear, there is a weatherboarded lean-to. Inside, the main ground floor room features a large open fireplace with a timber lintel and some exposed ceiling beams.
