Description
Higher Chilfrome Farmhouse is a mid-19th century farmhouse featuring stone walls and quoins, all rendered. It has slate roofs with stone gable copings and stone slabs at the eaves, along with brick stacks at each gable. The building is two storeys high and has three windows, which are 2-light casements with flat stone mullions and architraves, and stone cills. The casements are made of cast iron and include glazing bars. The front door is centrally located, made of planks from the 19th century, and is sheltered by a porch with rendered sides and a slate pentice roof. At the rear, there is a continuous outshut with stone gable copings that extend downwards.
