Description

The remains of a stone cross are located at SY 730915, near the parish boundary in Stinsford. The date of the cross is uncertain, but it is reputed to be medieval. The structure is a tapered monolith that is roughly octagonal in shape and serves as either a cross base or a boundary stone. It also features an Ordnance Survey bench mark.
