Description
The remains of a churchyard cross, dating from the late 13th century, are located about one metre south of the south aisle of the Church of St Mary Magdalene. The cross has been restored and is now part of a rock garden created in the 20th century. It is made of Ham stone and lias, featuring a stump of an octagonal shaft that rests on a broached square socket. The structure is surrounded by slate stonework, forming a small rock garden, and stands approximately 2 metres high.
