Description

Highbench Cottage is a late 18th-century cottage located on the south side of Lower Street in Okeford Fitzpaine. It is constructed of stuccoed cob and features a thatched roof with both hipped and gable ends. There is a rendered stack at one gable end and a tiled outshut at the opposite end. The cottage has two storeys and a three-window range, with two and three-light casements that include glazing bars. A 20th-century porch has been added to the building.
