Description

A farmhouse, dating from the 17th century with possible earlier origins, and incorporating a west range added in the 18th century. The west range is constructed of rubble, while the east range is of brick in a Flemish bond pattern with flared headers, and both have thatched, gable-ended roofs, with the left side half-hipped. A brick stack is located to the right and opposite the front door. The farmhouse has a lobby entrance plan and is arranged with a west range of one and a half storeys and an east range of two storeys, with a total of seven windows. Brick stacks are positioned to the right and opposite the entrance. Windows are mostly 19th and 20th century casements with horizontal glazing bars. Ground floor openings to the right are set within segmental brick arches, while those to the left are beneath wooden lintels. A 19th-century, two-storey porch with a round arch is present. The front door is set within a heavy frame.
