Description
This industrial building, dating from the 19th century, is located adjoining the Mill House on the east side of Knobcrook Lane. It is likely associated with the Mill. The structure features brick walls and a modern tiled roof, rising three storeys with attics. At the south end, there is a single-storey lean-to that is constructed similarly to the main building. Additionally, there is a later single-storey extension on the east side, which has a corrugated iron roof.
The west elevation facing West Borough has five casement windows on both the ground and first floors. These windows are highlighted by contrasting brick arches and are set within recessed panels that extend the full height of the building. The south elevation, which faces Knobcrook Lane, has similar windows on the first, second, and attic floors. Below the first-floor window on this front, there is a panel inscribed with "Baden Powell Boy Scouts, gymnasium and hall 1924," indicating a later use of the building. A tall circular brick chimney is situated to the west of the main building, and there is a brick boundary wall along West Borough. The building is included for its group value.
