PUNCKNOWLE CHURCH STREET, South Side Gate-piers 30 metres east of Puncknowle Manor House

Gate-Piers, c.1700. Stone and rusticated, with moulded necking, pulvinated capital and cornice over. Large ball-terminals are carried on cushion-bases. The inner faces of the piers have chamfered reveals with Ogival capitals.
