Description

The gate piers located 10 metres east of the Manor House are a pair dating from the early 18th century. They feature stone bases, caps, and finials, while the main piers are made of 20th-century brick. These square-plan piers stand about 2.0 metres high and include remnants of the original moulded stone base. They support an entablature with a pulvinated frieze and a projecting cornice, which is topped with pineapple finials. The gate piers are included for their group value. The flanking brick walls from the 20th century are not of special interest.
