Description

This is a barn built in the mid-19th century, with few later alterations, located about 50 metres west of Bodinnick Farmhouse. It is constructed from granite rubble with granite dressings and features a hipped slate roof with ridge tiles. The barn has a bank barn design, with a rear wing creating a T-plan. The main range is situated on the left, while the cross wing extends both to the front and rear on the right.

The exterior is two storeys high and has an asymmetrical front. The main range includes a ventilator door at ground level, which is framed by stone voussoirs, and a loading door above it with a granite lintel. The front wing on the right has a ventilator door at ground level with voussoirs and a window above, also featuring a granite lintel and keystone. There is a drain hole located to the right. The front end of the wing has a doorway at ground level, while the right side includes ventilation slits and a later 19th-century single-storey rubble lean-to. The left end of the main range has a single-storey rubble lean-to that is open at the end, featuring double wooden gates. At the rear, the ground level leads directly into the loft over the main range, which has a doorway inside a corrugated iron lean-to. The interior has not been inspected.
