Description

This is an 18th-century milestone located in St Erth. It is made of dressed granite and has a square plan. The tall shaft features a pyramidal head and has relief inscriptions on two sides. The left-hand side of the milestone displays the inscription "9 P," while the front-facing inscription reads "H 1," along with an Ordnance Survey bench mark underneath.
