Granary 30 Metres To East Of Trehannick Farmhouse

This granary, located 30 metres to the east of Trehannick Farmhouse, dates from the early to mid 19th century. It is constructed of stone rubble with granite dressings and features a rag slate roof with half hipped ends. The building has a rectangular overall plan, likely originally housing shippons or stables on the ground floor, with an external stair on the left side leading up to the granary on the first floor.

The granary is two storeys high and showcases large granite quoins and brick segmental arches above the openings. The ground floor includes a blocked window opening on the left, with a door opening in the centre and another to the right. An external stone rubble, slate, and timber stair on the left leads to the first floor, which has a plank door in the opening at the left hipped end. The interior has not been inspected.
