Description
Rosemundy Cottage is a house that likely dates from the 18th century. It features walls made of killas rubble with dressed granite arches above the ground floor openings. The roof is covered with scantle slate and has two gabled dormers. There are brick chimneys located over the gable ends.
The building has a two-room plan with a cross passage between the rooms. It stands two storeys high and has a slightly irregular three-window front with a doorway that is approximately central. Most of the openings are original, except for the window above the doorway, which is probably a later addition. The ground floor openings are topped with flat arches. The front door is a 19th-century six-panel door, with the top four panels later glazed. The windows on the ground floor are 20th-century two-light casements. The interior has not been inspected.
