Description

No. 48 Lemon Street is a small town house dating from around 1824. It features a front made of dressed coursed local stone and has a slate roof with brick end stacks. The building has a double-depth plan and stands two storeys high, with a two-window range on the front. The round-arched doorway is located on the left and includes a six-panel door with a plain fanlight above. The ground floor windows have cambered arches with projecting key blocks and original hornless sash windows with glazing bars, while the first floor has horned copies of these windows. The interior has not been inspected but is likely to be of interest.
