Description

49 Lemon Street is a small town house located at the end of a row, dating from around 1824. The front is made of dressed coursed local stone, topped with an original grouted scantle slate roof that has a hip on the right side and a brick stack on the left. The house has a double-depth plan and stands two storeys tall, featuring a two-window range on the front. There is a round-arched doorway on the right, which contains a six-panel door and a plain fanlight above it. The windows are original hornless sashes with glazing bars, set under shallow cambered arches that have key blocks. The interior has not been inspected but is likely to be of interest.
