Description
The gate piers and flanking walls located approximately 30 metres and 130 metres east of The Vicarage date from the early to mid-19th century. Constructed from granite ashlar and dressed granite, the outer piers are square in plan and feature round-headed monoliths that are connected to the walls with round copings. The inner piers are also square in plan and are linked to straight flanking walls that have similar terminal piers. To the northeast, there is a quadrant-shaped wall that fronts the stable courtyard. The piers are topped with square cornices and pyramidal caps, while the walls have plinths and chamfered copings.
