Description

The gate piers, gates, and forecourt area wall located northeast of The Old Vicarage date from the early 19th century. The gate piers are made of ashlar and are square in shape, featuring moulded bases and cap stones. They are flanked by low stone rubble walls that have stone coping, which ramps up to the gate piers. The gates are made of cast iron and are designed with spear heads on the shafts, cusped arches, and a frieze of quatrefoils.
