Description
The gate piers, gates, and adjoining walls stand west of Roskruge Barton Farmhouse, dating to around the late 17th century. The gate piers are constructed of granite ashlar with dressed granite details, set on plinths. They feature a moulded entablature and ramped pyramidal caps surmounted by ball finials. Wrought iron gates, described as 20th-century copies, have a ramped top rail and scrolled decoration to the bottom and lock rails. Flanking walls are of rubble, adjoined by cob walls with slate copings on the right (south).
