Description

The gate piers and flanking walls west of Glebe Farmhouse date from the late 17th century. They are made of granite ashlar and are integrated with coursed granite walls on either side. The piers are square in shape where they rise above the walls and feature cavetto moulded cornices leading to ogee-shaped caps topped with ball finials. There is a pair of wooden gates that have intersecting round arched bracing.
