Description
The coach house and stabling, located north of Trenoweth House, was likely built around 1888, coinciding with the construction of the main house. It features granite rubble walls with dressed granite quoins, doorways, and mullioned windows, topped by a gabled asbestos slate roof. The building has a rectangular plan, with a slightly later addition at right angles to the rear left, creating an overall L-shape. The original section includes a single coach house on the left and stabling on the right, both of which are single storey with an attic used for fodder storage.
The south-west front has two windows, with a central roof gable for a pitching eye, which is accessed by a flight of steps under a similar gable at the rear. The wide coach house doorway is located on the left, while the stable front is symmetrical with two windows and a central doorway on the right. The coach house doorway is flat-headed and flanked by two centres, with a segmental arch over the pitching eye and two-light mullioned windows. All openings feature straight chamfers and ledged doors, with slit ventilators at the gables. The interior has not been inspected.
