GV II

Stable and coach house. Mid C19. Slatestone rubble with granite dressings, partly rendered. Hipped slate roof with lead rolls to hips and ridge; ridge stack over coach house. L-plan range with stable wing to left and coach house to right. Stable has loft over, coach house has living accommodation at first floor. 2 storeys on plinth, stable has 2 pivoted sashes at ground floor with flat stone arches, blind recessed panel under eaves above each window. Central door with granite cornice on consoles, hipped roof over central loading door to loft above. Coach house has central double doors with granite jamb to right; pivoted sash with flat arch to left and door to right with similar head; blind recessed panel under eaves to left and right. 2 hipped dormers and central ridge stack. Right side of coach house rendered with pilasters. Front end wall of stable has single storey block with hipped roof and brick stack to side. Rear wall of stable rendered, with 3 blind windows and 3 blind recessed panels above. Rear of coach house rendered. Interior Stable retains original loose boxes.
