Coach House At Approximately 25 Metres West Of Pengreep House

The coach house, located approximately 25 meters west of Pengreep House, dates from the early to mid-19th century and was extended in the later 19th century. It is constructed of killas rubble with dressed granite quoins and lintels. The roofs are made of asbestos slate and corrugated asbestos, featuring gable ends. There is a brick chimney on the left side wall and another on the gable end of the later wing to the right.

Originally, the building had a single-cell plan with accommodation above. The later extension includes an additional coach house to the right, which has a roof at right angles to the original structure, a single-storey extension in front of the original doorway, and a two-storey addition to the left at the rear. The original southeast front features a large brick arched doorway, although this is obscured by the single-storey extension at ground level. There is a 16-pane window on the first floor to the right, set within a slate-hung stud wall. The ground floor includes ledge and braced double doors on the right and another set towards the left of the front extension. The extension, which is set back to the left, has a ground floor doorway and a 12-pane, 2-light casement window in the middle of the weather-boarded first floor. The interior has not been inspected.
