Description

STOKE CLIMSLAND SX 37 SE 8/176 Group of 3 monuments approx 5 m north - and north-west of tower of Stoke Climsland Church

GV II

Group of 3 chest tombs. Late C18. Granite blocks with moulded plinths and capping. Tomb to north has raised rectangular moulded slate slab to top with inscription commemorating Mary Stephens (d. 1777). Tombs to north-west have inset and slate slabs to top with inscriptions illegible at time of resurvey (November 1987).
