Description
A group of three chest tombs, dating from the late 18th century, is located approximately 5 meters north and northwest of the tower of Stoke Climsland Church. These tombs are constructed from granite blocks and feature moulded plinths and capping. The tomb to the north has a raised rectangular moulded slate slab on top, which commemorates Mary Stephens, who died in 1777. The two tombs to the northwest have inset and slate slabs on top, but the inscriptions on these are illegible as of the last survey conducted in November 1987.
