GV II

House and adjoining post office. C18 and C19. Painted slatestone rubble and cob with grouted scantle slate roof with rendered brick chimney over half-hipped side wall left and party gable end right. 2 room, central stair plan plus small, single storey post office wing to front, left. 2 storeys. Nearly symmetrical 3 windows north front. Nearly central doorway with 4 panel door and small slated hood. 16 pane, hornless sash over. Other windows are 24 pane, 3 light, possibly original casements. Wooden lintels. Small 6 pane casement inserted C20 between ground floor left window and door, 4 pane fixed light in wide opening to gable end of post office, left. Interior not inspected. Included for group value.
